Mai

Growing up on the Island Nihon, Mai was trained in the ways of the warrior from an early age. She belonged to a large Uji but was very well respected since she was one of their best warriors.

Visiting in Chin, to arrange some trading, she found a girl with hair as the sun and skin as white as snow. The girl spoke in Latin tongue which Mai had been thought on her travels.

Since the girl had nobody to look after her Mai called upon an old custom of her people and adopted her. Taking her home she learned that the girl was full of interesting stories and was trained to become a warrior as well.

Mai enjoyed this so much she started to train the girl the methods of fighting her people used. Paidi was adored by the people in the Uji and was very quickly excepted.

After seven years the two woman said their goodbyes and Mai went on with her life as it was before. A few moons after her daughter had left the Uji was attacked and their warlord killed. Mai lived to be his successor.
