Kiarna

Alogosida Quilla (Cavalry Archer)

Jumak Archila (Tribal Mask Maker)

Lyane Archila (Pigeon Mistress)

Tal'ak Archila (Head Falconeer)

Kiarna hails from a small farming village called Lampsacus, northeast of Troy. It was a peaceful and mundane village, unaffected by the wars of surrounding villages and cities. While Demeter held significance in the village, Kiarna worshiped Hecate who was of lesser importance to the farming life.

Kiarna has four older brothers and a younger sister, all of whom learned their household duties and worked in the fields together. She would often play with her brothers in the fields, which her father believes led to her being headstrong and independent with a short temper. This behavior led to Kiarna’s lack of marriage proposals, which angered her father. This fact and boredom led Kiarna to leave her village and journey about the world.

She sought a more satisfying life away from the village and farming, traveling about the world, relying on her wits and learning to fight with a staff. She wandered into Themiscyran lands while escaping from some bandits. She asked to stay and learn archery and hand-to-hand fighting and was accepted into the tribe.

Kiarna is about 5’9” with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. She favors leather pants and bodices worn with boots. She has a bloodstone pendant that she wears constantly. She believes that she is far more talented in areas than she actually is. Kiarna's totem is the raven.

Feirce and loyal, though slightly introverted and shy Kiarna has grown in the Tribe. Her favorite weapons are the sais, the bow, and the sword. She has excelled in the cavalry becoming one of the riding archers, and gaining a bay mare named Lita. With a pet raven, her love of birds is evident, making her a perfect successor as the Lyane and Tal'ak Archila's. She speaks Latin and Greek.

Currently Kiarna shares her hut with Elaka, Celtic neice of Willow, who is in her care whilst Willow is on Nok'Tana. Her other hutmate is Valencia.
