Sister to Tara

I came from the East, an ancient land of mystery and sorrow. My country was overrun by steppe nomads; my father, the king, and my beloved sister, Tara, died fighting bravely to defend the capital. I escaped, not because I feared death, but that the task of liberating my people from foreign yoke is now on my shoulders. At times, I would dream of joining Tara in the world of Hades, but I know I do not have the luxury of that choice. Strangely, I do not hate the invaders; they did just what they did; it's their nature. My only goal was to free my people and restore the peace and glory of our culture, now being suppressed in my native soil.

I was adopted into the Amazon tribe and I learned to use the double-blade ax. To me, the double blades present a special meaning: one blade is to fight any injustice and the other a constant fight against the temptation of pride and hatred inside me. I am very tired but with all my heart and ability, I will try my very best to become a worthy Amazon....
